WEST POINT, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team dropped three matches on the road in West Point, N.Y. to Fordham, Stony Brook and Army this past weekend.

The Bonnies fell to Fordham, 6-1, Friday before dropping a 4-3 decision to Stony Brook Saturday afternoon. Bona's wrapped up play against Army Sunday afternoon, dropping a 4-0 final to the Black Knights.

Amelia Haley shined for the Bonnies, going 2-1 in singles and 1-1 in doubles action. She picked up her first singles victory of the weekend over Fordham's Lindsay Hung, 3-6, 6-2, 10-6, and then bested Stony Brook's Debby Mastrodima in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2. Haley paired up with Alexandra Jansson for a doubles victory at No. 2, 6-3, over Fordham.

Also winning for the Bonnies against Stony Brook was Anastasia Gubanova and Sienna Smith, each taking their matches in straight sets.

The Bonnies are back in action next weekend, making their home debut Saturday, Feb. 11 against Slippery Rock.
