ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team captured a 5-2 win over Slippery Rock Saturday afternoon at the University Fitness Center on Senior Day.

The Bonnies got out to an early lead, securing the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2.

Tamara Bachmann and Sara Montano Parada bested Alissia Kivi and Nicole Kempton at the top spot, 6-1, while Sienna Smith and Kashish Bote defeated Amaia Balaguer Brau and Tina Slovak at No. 2, 6-4.

In singles action, Montano Parada, Bachmann, Smith and Bote all emerged victorious to secure the team win.

Bachmann, Smith and Bote cruised to straight set wins at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.

Montano Parada battled back from a set down at the top spot to win in three sets, 1-6, 6-0, 6-2.

The Bonnies are back in action Wednesday, April 22 at the Atlantic 10 Tournament.
