NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – St. Bonaventure University women's tennis freshman Sienna Smith has earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week accolades, conference officials announced.

Smith was victorious in both singles and doubles play in the Bonnies lone match last week against Colgate.

She teamed up with Amelia Haley for a win at No. 2 doubles, 6-3, over Katerina Atallah and Natalie Fuller.

In singles play, Smith won in straight sets over Jordan Ben-Shmiel at the No. 5 spot, 6-4, 6-2.

The Bonnies are back in action Friday, March 24 on the road at Siena.
