The GoBonnies.com Student-Athletes of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending March 8 are women's tennis freshman Sara Montano Parada and men's lacrosse junior Patrick Shanahan.

Montano Parada was a perfect 3-0 at No. 1 doubles while also scoring a singles win at the top spot across three matches last week for the Bonnies. Montano Parada teamed up with Tamara Bachmann to capture doubles wins over Davenport, Villanova and North Carolina A&T. She also scored a straight set win at No. 1 singles against North Carolina A&T.

Shanahan recorded back-to-back hat tricks in a pair of contests last week at Mercyhurst on Tuesday and at Cleveland State on Saturday.

He helped key the victory at Mercyhurst by scoring three times including the game-winner. On the weekend, he netted three more goals against Cleveland State, also adding three groundballs as the Bonnies fell just short in overtime.

He now has seven career hat tricks and moved into fifth place in the program's Division I era for career goals with 45.
