The St. Bonaventure University women's lacrosse team will travel to take on Duquesne Wednesday, March 22. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+. 
 
LAST TIME OUT

• The Bonnies came up short against Davidson, 11-10, in a hard-fought battle in their home conference opener.
• Fiona McGovern (three goals, one assist), Abby Hiltz (two goals) and Grace Hollenbeck (two goals) led the offensive charge for the Bonnies.
• Kassi Hogan, Courtney Fox, and Jessica Notaro also found the back of the net.
• In the cage, Ashley Herrick made 12 saves.  

 
STATS TELL THE STORY

• Fiona McGovern is averaging 1.44 free position goals per game this season, which currently ranks third in the nation.
• McGovern also ranks in the top 25% in the NCAA with 36 points accounted for on the season.
• The Bonnies have connected on over half the shots they attempt for a .519 shot percentage, which is the third highest in the nation. 
• Senior goalkeeper Ashley Herrick has made her presence known, recording 83 saves on the season so far, ranking 7^th in the country.

 
ROAD WARRIORS

• The Bonnies are looking to increase their road winning streak to three games.
• In there last two road matchups, St. Bonaventure picked up victories against VCU and Eastern Michigan.
• The Brown and White outscored those two opponents, 29-21, including 19-7 in the first half of those contests.
• This is most road wins by the program since the 2020 season when they were earned four road victories.

 
ABOUT DUQUESNE

• Duquesne has begun the season with a record of 1-7 and most recently fell to Saint Joseph's, 16-10.
• This season Delaney Rodriguez-Shaw (26 goals), Mackenzie Leszczynski (19 goals) and Chelsea Evans (15 goals) lead the team in scores, while Leszczynski also has tallied a team-high six assists.
• In net, Mady Piersielak has collected 69 saves in seven starts this year.
• Duquesne's lone victory of the year came against Youngstown State, 16-13, on February 24^th.

 
UP NEXT

• The Bonnies will return home to take on #16 UMass Saturday, March 25. The game is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
