Box Score RICHMOND, Va. – The St. Bonaventure University baseball team fell to VCU, 13-1, in the final game of the series Sunday afternoon.

VCU (15-13, 2-1 A-10) opened up the scoring in the game with four runs in the second inning.
Â
In the next inning, the Rams continued their offensive attack by adding seven runs on five hits to take an 11-0 lead.

Jackson DeJohn got the Bonnies on the scoreboard with a solo blast in the top of the fourth.
Â
St. Bonaventure (4-17, 1-2 A-10) continued to threaten in the fourth inning by loading the bases, but VCU's starter Mason Delane was able to work out of trouble.

The Rams tacked on two runs in the fifth inning to secure the victory Sunday afternoon.
Â
At the plate, VCU was led by Ethan Brooks and William Bean, who each recorded two hits and two RBIs.
Â
DeJohn finished the three-game series with a team-high five runs batted in and two home runs for St. Bonaventure.

Sophomore reliever
Luke Roggenburk threw three scoreless innings out of the bullpen, allowing only two hits and striking out three.

The Bonnies will have a quick turnaround with a non-conference matchup at Binghamton on Tuesday, April 4. First pitch is set for 4:00 p.m.
