KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Graduate students Erik Stauderman and Jack Angelucci gave the St. Bonaventure golf team two of its highest finishers at the Atlantic 10 Championship in recent memory as the Bonnies wrapped their season Sunday at the Reunion Resort Nicklaus Course.

Stauderman shot 76 to stand in a tie for 11th while Angelucci finished with 77 to place in a tie for 14th. The Bonnies leaders gave St. Bonaventure a pair of top-15 finishers at the conference tournament for the first time since 2007 when current head coach Ryan Swanson and Ben Howe both tied for 13th.

Stauderman, meanwhile, is the top-finishing Bonnies player at the A-10 Championship since Danny Gianniny tied for 10th in 2019.

As team, the Bonnies finished ninth in the 12-team field with a 917 final total following Sunday's team score of 316.

Davidson won the tournament with a score of 865, capturing the conference trophy by eight shots over Loyola Chicago. VCU (881), George Washington (887) and Richmond (889) rounded out the top five. Rhode Island (904), Dayton (906), George Mason (907), St. Bonaventure (917) and La Salle (921) made up the six through 10 spots while Saint Joseph's (927) and Fordham (935) rounded out the field.

A fifth-year member of the program, Stauderman made his move on the par-3s as he played those holes in a tournament-best 3-under par. He was the only player in the field to play the par-3s under par while his 12 total birdies overall on the week were bested by only three players.

He opened his final round on No. 10, and put himself in the top-10 with a birdie on the par-5 18th. A 3-over start on his second nine put a damper on the day, but he followed with six consecutive pars before draining a birdie on the par-4 ninth, his final collegiate hole. For the week, Stauderman logged rounds of 71-73-76 to post 220 for the 54 holes, closing at 4-over for the week on the 7,219-yard layout.

Likewise, Angelucci was able to birdie the final hole on both his opening and closing nines and recorded rounds of 72-73-77 for a 222 total. In his one season with the Bonnies after transferring to St. Bonaventure for his grad year, Angelucci set a new school record for rounds of par or better in a season.

Peter Byrne finished in a tie for 48th (79-75-83/237) and recorded 10 birdies during the tournament while Michael Bucko tied for 53rd (81-77-86/244). Jude Cummings was the fourth counting score for the Bonnies in the final round, carding 80 for the day.
