ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The latest NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) report for the 2021-22 academic year showed continued success for St. Bonaventure's Division I programs.

The APR provides a real-time look at a team's academic success by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete during the school year. The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation in the calculation and provides a measure of each team's academic performance.

Teams must meet a certain academic threshold to qualify for the postseason, and programs also can face penalties for continued low academic performance. The most recent APRs are multiyear rates based on annual scores from the 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 academic years.

Each of St. Bonaventure's 19 Division I programs posted an APR score of 950 or better and all but three reached a score of 983 or higher. The NCAA minimum threshold is 930, meaning that all St. Bonaventure programs remain in strong APR standing.

In all, the Bonnies boasted a 986 average multi-year APR.

Leading the way for the Bonnies were men's cross country and track as well as women's soccer which all posted scores of 997. Men's and women's tennis each had a score of 990 while softball (995) and women's lacrosse (996) excelled as well.

Dating back to the beginning of available APR data in 2004, Bonnies women's soccer has achieved a score of 990 or better in all but one year. Bona softball, meanwhile, has delivered 10 straight years of at least 990 or better and women's lacrosse registers its fifth consecutive reporting year of 993 or higher. Since 2012, Bonnies men's cross country has recorded a score of 994 or better all but one year, including three perfect scores.
