ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure golf head coach
Ryan Swanson announced the addition of Colin Barber to the 2025 signing class with Barber's signing of a National Letter of Intent to join the program next season.

Barber joins the program from Victor, N.Y. where he is a standout at Victor Senior High School.

"We are thrilled to welcome Colin. We make a point to get the best out of Rochester, and he certainly makes a case for the best in the 2025 class," Swanson said. "He is all about the grind and has shown he can play very well on tough golf courses. We love that he's an athlete; plays basketball for perennial powerhouse Victor, and has experienced a ton of success as a team and program. Understanding the team dynamic in college golf is unique and rare. He gets it. He dots all the I's and crosses all the T's, and we are excited to welcome him in August!"

Barber is a three-time section champion and a first team all-league honoree. In 2024, he led Victor to the Section V title, carding a 36 to earn individual medalist honors.

In 2023, Barber won the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship to earn a bid to the regional qualifier in New Jersey where he finished in second, shooting 73-68. His performance in the regional qualifier put him into the national championship tournament. Barber posted scores of 70-75-70 to finished tied for 17
th in the Boys 14-15 division.

He holds the course record at Cobblestone Creek Country Club, shooting an 8-under 64.
