POWELLS POINT, N.C. – Sophomore Braddock Damore showed the way for the St. Bonaventure golf team in the program's fall finale at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate Sunday and Monday at Kilmarlic Golf Course. 

Originally slated for three days, the tournament was condensed to two with squads playing 27 holes each day due to inclement weather in the forecast for Tuesday.

Damore tied for 37^th in the field of 82 players with his second round of 1-under 70 being the top score of the week for the Bonnies. He opened Sunday's competition at 4-over 75 before finishing in red numbers in the second round. He wrapped up the tournament with 78 on Monday to record 223 for the week.

As a team, the Bonnies placed 14^th out of 16 squads (307-296-298/901).

Bona's two freshmen, Tyler Berkman and Colin Barber, were nearly identical, finishing with matching final tallies of 226. Barber opened the tourney with 78 and improved each round, posting 75 in round two before closing with 2-over 73. Berkman, meanwhile, started with 77 and also got better each go around, tallying 75 in the middle round with a final score of 3-over 74.

Also in the lineup for the Bonnies were seniors Michael Bucko (77-76-77/230) and Gabe Williams (78-81-74/233).

The fall season now complete, the Bonnies will break until March when they resume competition at Mid-Pines Golf Club for the Ross Collegiate Classic.
