The St. Bonaventure University softball team kicks off Atlantic 10 play on the road in the City of Brotherly Love, taking on Saint Joseph's. The series begins Saturday, March 16 with a doubleheader at 12:00 p.m. and wraps up Sunday with a solo game, also at noon.

OFF TO A FAST START
Sophomore Reanna Perkins and freshman Kymora Wang are both off to a hot start at the plate this season.

Perkins is hitting .400 with six hits, a double and hit her first career home run last Sunday against Evansville. A native of Barker, N.Y., Perkins has started seven games at shortstop this season and is carrying a slugging percentage of .667. Perkins has struck out just once in her first 15 at-bats.

Wang leads all qualified Bonnies batters, slashing .419/.438/.613 to go along with a team-best 10 RBIs. Wang has 13 hits, including two doubles and two triples while touting a 1.051 on-base plus slugging percentage.

SCOUTING THE HAWKS

• Saint Joseph's enters the weekend 6-14 overall after falling to Monmouth, 3-1, Wednesday afternoon. The Hawks also have earned wins over Binghamton, Appalachian State, Youngstown State, Winthrop and College of Charleston this season.
• The Hawks are led offensively by Gianna Muhaw and Kayla Tauber who are hitting .354 and .348, respectively. Muhaw has tallied 23 hits with two triples and a double while scoring eight runs. Tauber has 16 hits, including two doubles and has driven in six runs.
• In the circle, Jules Scogna carries a team-best 3.40 ERA while Emily Siler is 3-5 in the circle, starting a team-high seven games.

LAST TIME WE MET
The Bonnies and Hawks met last season at Joyce Field with Saint Joseph's taking two out of three from the Brown and White. Saint Joseph's has won 16 out of 18 matchups against the Brown and White, dating back to the 2016 season.
