ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team defeated Binghamton, 4-3, Thursday afternoon at the SBU Tennis Center.

The Bonnies started fast, taking an early lead by winning the doubles point away from the Bearcats.

Archie Graham and Hugo Cochlin teamed up for a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles while Connor Turner and Rasmus Egehus paired up for a 7-5 victory at No. 3.

In singles action, Cochlin and Jean Marrero picked up wins for the Brown and White at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.

Cochlin bested Kyle Weekes, 6-3, 7-6, and Marrero took down James McPherson, 6-0, 6-1.

Clinching the win for the Brown and White was Norka Sanchez at No. 6 singles, battling back from a set down to win, 0-6, 7-6, 6-0.

The Bonnies are back in action at home Saturday when they host Le Moyne.
