ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure Athletics takes another step in Bona's re-energized brand identity by unveiling a new-look Bob Lanier Court for the 2024-25 season at the Reilly Center.
Fans at The RC will watch action on a design representing a new era in Bonnies Athletics including logos from the department's recent brand refresh.
Featuring prominently at center court as well is the signature of the late Bob Lanier who the court was named in honor of in 2007. The signature design is a callback to the popular court layout of years past.
For the first time in department history, a corporate partner will now also be featured on the playing surface.
Longtime supporter of St. Bonaventure Athletics, Shults Auto Group is displayed on the newly painted Bob Lanier Court, solidifying their commitment to the present and future of Bonnies basketball.
"Shults Auto Group is proud to be St. Bonaventure owned and operated we are thrilled to have our logo displayed on the newly resurfaced Bob Lanier Court," Shults Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Matt Kahm said. "This new partnership reinforces our support of Bonnies basketball and our commitment to the Brown and White not just now, but for years to come. Go Bonnies!"
St. Bonaventure's Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Bob Beretta stated, "We're extremely excited to showcase our new St. Bonaventure Athletics marks, along with that of the Shults Auto Group, on Bob Lanier Court. It's fitting that the logo of one of our most loyal partners over the years is the first corporate mark to appear on the Reilly Center playing court. We're thrilled to share this sacred space with a company that is such an important member of our Bona family."
Along with the department's new Bonnies logo at center court, an updated St. Bonaventure wordmark appears on both baselines and the secondary "Block B" logo appears subtly at the substitute check-in location on the east sideline of the court.
