The St. Bonaventure women's soccer team is set to host Massachusetts in the first Atlantic 10 home game of the season for the Bonnies. Prior to the 1:00 p.m. kickoff, the Bonnies will honor their nine graduating seniors.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
Chiara Gottinger is a four-year member of the program, playing 55 career games. Gottinger has the fifth-most saves in program history with 379 and is third in career shutouts with 13. As a sophomore, she led the nation in saves and was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team in 2023, the A-10 Second Team in 2022, and the A-10 All-Rookie Team in 2021. Gottinger is a sports management major and has been selected to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll every year of her career. Â

Chanel Alexander is a four-year member of the Bonnies squad, making 43 career appearances. Alexander has recorded seven points for the Bonnies in her career and was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team in 2021. A sports studies major with a focus in exercise science and a minor in business, Alexander was named to the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2023.

Thea Juul is a first-year member of the team, playing and starting in five games so far this season. Juul previously played at Young Harris College and Saint Rose. At Saint Rose, she played in 15 games and helped the team to an NE-10 Championship. Juul is pursuing her Master's degree in sports administration.

Savanna Mondesir-Singh is a three-year member of the Bona program. The Richmond Hill, Ontario native has made two appearances for the Bonnies. Mondesir-Singh is a heath science major.

Elisabeth Ptacek is a four-year member of the program, making 43 appearances and 15 starts. Ptacek has made the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll in every year of her career. Elisabeth is a marketing major.

Sydney Hayward is a four-year member of the team and was named captain in her senior year. She has made 39 appearances and 25 starts in her career, tallying two goals. In 2023, she was named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and earned a spot on the College Sport Communicators All-District Academic Team. Hayward is an adolescent education and English double major.

Kristin Pickard has been a member of the team for four years and was named team captain this season. Pickard has made 32 appearances and 13 starts in her career while tallying an assist. She has been an Atlantic 10 Commissioners Honor Roll honoree in every year of her career. Pickard is an educational studies major.

Bridget Kennedy is a four-year member of the program and two-year team captain. She has played and started in all 61 games of her career. Kennedy has recorded two goals and one assist while playing over 5600 minutes in her career. The Cleveland Heights, Ohio native is an exercise science major and has been named to the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll each year of her career.

Kendall Stansbury is a four-year member of the program. Stansbury has made three appearances in her career. She is a multi-time Atlantic 10 Commissioners Honor Roll Honoree and finance major.

ABOUT UMASS
The Minutewomen have begun the 2024 season with a 5-3-1 overall record. In their Atlantic 10 Conference opener UMass suffered a 1-0 loss to No. 22 Saint Louis Thursday.

Massachusetts was selected to finish fourth in the A-10 Preseason Poll, finishing six points behind third-voted VCU.

Notable wins for the Minutewomen this season have come over Boston College and Rutgers.

SERIES HISTORY
The Bonnies are 4-19-2 all-time against UMass. Over the past four games however, the Bonnies and the Minutewomen have posted two 0-0 ties, including last year's meeting in Amherst, Mass.
