ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure men's lacrosse will highlight its fall ball schedule with a trip to the Philadelphia area this weekend to play in the HEADstrong Fall Event Series at WSFS Bank Sportplex in Chester, Pa. as part of Sunday action against Michigan and Marist.
Head coach Brendan Storrier's squad will gain an early gauge of how things are shaping up for the 2026 season by taking on impressive competition.Â
Michigan went 7-7 last season with three victories over Top 20 opponents after reaching the NCAA Tournament the previous year. Â Marist finished last season 8-8 and 5-3 in MAAC play. The event will also include multi-time national champion Virginia, though the Bonnies and Cavaliers will not play each other.
St. Bonaventure starts the day Sunday, Oct. 19 vs. Michigan at 10 a.m. before heading indoors to play Marist at 12:30 p.m.Â
Tickets to the event are $15 per person and proceeds go directly to HEADstrong's mission of assisting families affected by cancer. Tickets can be purchased in advance at https://bit.ly/FallEventTickets2025. Teams participating at each location will also be fundraising, with their efforts going directly to local families that HEADstrong is assisting. Those funds will be presented to a family at each location at a special presentation in between games by members of the Colleluori family and HEADstrong representatives.Â
St. Bonaventure men's lacrosse has long been a supporter of the HEADstrong Foundation, raising over $65,000 for the cause in the program's first four seasons at the Division I level alone while frequently being one of the top teams in the nation in terms of dollars raised for the foundation and cancer research.
