ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure men's lacrosse team has added 16 newcomers to the roster this fall, including 12 freshmen and four transfer student-athletes. Head coach Brendan Storrier's first Bonnies squad brings in players from seven different states as well as British Columbia and Ontario.
#1 Simon Kowal | SSDM | 6-0 | 185 | Victor, N.Y. | Fr.
Recorded 163 groundballs and 64 caused turnovers at Victor High School … named All-League on defense … selected to the Section 5 Class B All-Tournament Team.
#5 Brady Dolan | A | 6-2 | 185 | Lindenhurst, N.Y. | Jr.
Dolan joins SBU from Nassau Community College where he was a First Team NJCAA All-American selection …  also picked to the NJCAA National Championship All-Tournament Team … earned the SUNY Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year award … finished the season as the NJCAA national leader in points (91) and assists (58) in just 13 games … helped lead Nassau to a national runner-up finish … 55 goals and 135 assists during varsity career at Lindenhurst High.
#8 Blake Maracle | A | 5-11 | 195 | Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory | Sr.
Maracle comes to the Bonnies from Limestone College where he played for Coach Storrier's squad, appearing in 41 games over three seasons … tallied 22 goals and 13 assists ... enjoyed best career season as a junior in 2025 with 12 goals and nine assists for 21 points … named First Team all-conference at The Frederick Gunn School where he posted 55 points in 18 games.

Recorded 24 goals and 20 assists as a sophomore and 44 goals with 47 assists as a junior at O'Dea High … missed freshman and senior seasons due to injury … earned First Team All-Metro League honors as a junior … selected to the New Balance All-America Team …  high school team was a three-time state finalist in Washington State … picked to the Blackjack Classic All-Tournament Team … was on Adrenaline All-American Watchlist … played club for West Coast Starz and Seattle Starz.

All-Conference selection at Webster Thomas High … posted 67 career points in the midfield.
#20 Dylan Newell | D | 6-0 | 175 | Crofton, MD | Fr.
Varsity starter on defense for three seasons at Archbishop Spalding … played club for the Annapolis Hawks and Old Line Elite.

Two-time All-County selection … recorded 67 points (50G-17A) for Webster Thomas High.

Totaled 117 points in 30 games, posting 65 goals and 52 assists for Oneida Nation … earned First Team All-Conference honors as a senior … named Second Team All-State.

Transferred from Limestone where he played two seasons for the Saints, seeing time in 24 games … posted 11 groundballs and seven caused turnovers … helped Limestone to a 16-3 record last season.
#33 Tyler Lucas | A/M | 6-0 | 195 | Hershey, Pa. | Fr.
Finished varsity career with 371 total points (205G-166A) at Hershey … named First Team All-Conference … selected as Mid-Penn Lacrosse Player of the Year … helped team to the state quarterfinals in back-to-back seasons … played club for Baltimore Crabs.
#35 Kenyon Whitney | LSM | 6-5 | 190 | Richmond, B.C. | Fr.
Team captain at Royal Bay Secondary ... played club for Fusion West Lacrosse and Royal Bay Lacrosse Academy … also played baseball, basketball, hockey, football, soccer, golf, tennis and ran track … father, Ken, played in the Canadian Football League.

Named Indiana All-State … USA Lacrosse Academic All-American as a senior … helped his Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory team to the 2023 Indiana state title and a 2024 state runner-up spot … posted 281 saves and a .675 save percentage as a senior … totaled a .584 save percentage as a junior with 174 saves.
