ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team fell to La Salle, 2-1, on Senior Night at the Marra Athletics Complex Saturday.
Prior to kickoff Saturday, the Bonnies honored Nicolas Pucci, Hugo Berville, Gabriel Addo, Jesper van Halderen, Seth Hammond, Ethan Streeter, Zach McBennett, Dean Mercer, Avery Dreasky and Ricardo Rittersberger Galan as part of Senior Night. 
Both sides tried to get the offense going in the first half, but the Bonnies and Explorers headed into halftime scoreless. 
The Bonnies (3-8-3, 1-4-2 A-10) best chance of the first half came off the foot of Seth Hammond in the 31st minute, but La Salle goalkeeper Valentine Kneis was there to make the save. 
The Explorers (4-4-7, 2-2-3 A-10) wasted no time finding the game's first goal coming out of the break when Ismael Deme found the back of the net in the 54th minute, giving the visitors the 1-0 advantage. 
Bona's, however, was able to find the equalizer in the 64th minute.
Hammond sent a corner kick into the box where Avery Dreasky was waiting to head home his second goal in as many games, tying the game at one goal apiece. 
The visitors, however, were able to find the go-ahead goal in 84th minute. Julius de Vries was originally called offsides following the score, but after going to VAR it was confirmed a goal, sending the Explorers home victorious. 
Hammond and Kyle Macfarlane paced the Bonnies with three shots each while Dean Mercer and Daniel Helle tallied two shots apiece. 
Felix Schöne made five saves in net for the Brown and White. 
The Bonnies close out the regular season on the road at Fordham Saturday, Nov. 1. Kickoff is slated for 5:00 p.m.
