ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure softball first-year head coach Camden Decker has announced the program's 2026 schedule, highlighted by multiple early season invitationals and 16 home games at Joyce Field.

The Bonnies will kick things off in the new season at the East Texas A&M Leadoff, which will run from Friday, Feb. 6 through Sunday, Feb. 8. SBU will play back-to-back night games on Feb. 6 against two Southland Conference members, Stephen F. Austin and the hosts, East Texas A&M. The team will then face SWAC member Texas Southern and the hosts once again on Saturday before wrapping things up on Sunday with an early morning game opposite Bucknell of the Patriot League.

Stephen F. Austin and East Texas A&M each appeared in the Southland Tournament last season, eventually being eliminated by Nicholls and Lamar, respectively. Texas Southern was eliminated from the SWAC Tournament by Florida A&M while Bucknell was eventually bounced from the Patriot League Tournament by top-seeded Army.

Bonaventure will then shift focus to the Wofford Invitational which will begin on Friday, Feb. 13. The squad will see back-to-back action against UNC Wilmington of the CAA and against America East members UMBC on the invitational's opening day of competition. Next, the Bonnies will play two Saturday games, facing UNCW again before getting a first look at the hosting Wofford Terriers, who appeared in the Southern Conference Tournament last season. A rematch with 2025 AEC Tournament participant UMBC on Sunday, Feb. 15 will put a bow on the event.

The Bonnies will next appear in the Pirate Invitational on Feb. 20-22, hosted by East Carolina, who went 31-26 last season. The team is set to face Sun Belt members James Madison and Towson of the CAA in back-to-back Friday contests, followed by a Saturday doubleheader against the American Conference's ECU and James Madison once again. A Sunday morning rematch with Towson will close things out. All three of Bonaventure's scheduled opponents at the Pirate Invitational appeared in their respective conference tournaments last season with James Madison advancing to the Sun Belt title game, eventually falling to seventh-seeded Coastal Carolina.

SBU's next test will come at the Longhorn Invitational, hosted by defending national champion Texas of the SEC from Feb. 27 through March 1. The Bonnies will kick things off on Friday with games against SWAC member Prairie View A&M and Houston of the Big 12, succeeded by matchups the following day with Incarnate Word of the Southland Conference and the defending national champion Longhorns, who compiled a 56-12 overall record. They will then rematch Incarnate Word on Sunday morning to wrap up the invitational. Once again, all Longhorn Invitational opponents appeared in their respective conference tournaments last season.

Bona's final invitational action of the season will come at the Boilermaker Classic, hosted by Purdue on March 6-8. The Bonnies will face Green Bay of the Horizon League in back-to-back games on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. They will also match up with Purdue of the Big 10 on Saturday before closing out the invitational against the MAC's Northern Illinois on Sunday morning. Green Bay, Purdue and Northern Illinois all reached postseason conference play last season.

The Brown and White open Atlantic 10 play with a three-game series at Rhode Island on March 14-15. The Bonnies swept the Rams with three straight home wins last season. Other A-10 road series include Loyola Chicago (March 28-29), Dayton (April 11-12) and Saint Joseph's (April 18-19)
