ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure's women's golf program has added a third student-athlete for its inaugural season as Lizzie Noel commits to join the Bonnies for 2026-27.
Noel is a product of Fayetteville, N.Y. where she plays for Fayetteville Manlius High School.
"Lizzie is from the Syracuse region which is a highly competitive golf market," St. Bonaventure Director of Golf Patrick Damore said. "She has had a very successful high school and junior golf career. She is taught by one of the top instructors in the state of New York. She will help lead our program into the future."
During her high school career, she has earned First Team All-League honors following three seasons while helping her team to sectional championships twice along with a third-place finish at the New York State tournament. During Junior PGA tournament play, she has averaged a fifth-place finish.
A left-handed player, she is also a standout in the classroom where she has picked up National Honor Society recognition as an Honors student. She plans to major in communications/marketing at Bona's.
Noel joins Caitrin Coyle (Akron, Ohio) and Josephine Phillips (Gambrills, Maryland) as the first three commitments to play for St. Bonaventure women's golf.
The Bonnies will join the Atlantic 10 Conference for their first season at the Division I level this coming fall.
