St. Bonaventure Men's Lacrosse Inks 2026 Recruiting Class

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure men's lacrosse program has inked 17 student-athletes to join the program as part of the early signing period for head coach Brendan Storrier's first recruiting class. The recruits represent eight states and provinces across the United States and Canada.

Grant Alexander | G | 6-0 | 185 | Raleigh, N.C.
Alexander has been a star in net for Westtown School, collecting 320 career saves including 189 alone during his junior season. He owns a 64 percent save percentage to earn First Team All-League and honorable mention All-State. His team has won two conference championships and reached the state championship pinnacle in 2024 with Alexander in the cage. He is also a Nike Nationals All-Star who is a National Honor Society member. He will major in either business or finance at St. Bonaventure.

Quinn Empey | M | 5-11 | 165 | Cicero, N.Y.
Empey comes to SBU from the lacrosse-rich Syracuse area where he plays for Cicero-North Syracuse High. He has racked up 44 goals and eight assists with 16 groundballs in the midfield to receive All-Conference and All-Central New York nods. He is in the business honor society at CNS and plans to major in sports management.

Frank Filiberto | D | 5-7 | 175 | Mount Sinai, N.Y.
A standout defender for Saint Anthony's High School, Filiberto has helped power a squad that won the New York Catholic High School AAA league title this past spring. He set his school's single-game record of 13 groundballs earlier in his high school career and also played club for the Long Island Express, winning the WSYL championship while taking a top ranking in the state. He has also received New York Catholic High School All-Academic Team awards in both lacrosse and football in each of the past two years. He plans to major in finance at Bona's.

Kevin Gattie Jr. | A | 6-1 | 175 | Arnold, MD
A three-star recruit on Inside Lacrosse, Gattie Jr. plays for Severn School in Maryland where he has tallied 17 goals and 26 assists the last two years while leading his team's offense in caused turnovers as well. He follows in the footsteps of his father who was a lacrosse student-athlete at Delaware while his mother played Division I softball at Mount Saint Mary's. An Honor Roll student, he intends to major in business.

Sam Gelfman | D | 6-2 | 190 | Clifton Park, N.Y.
Gelfman is a defender for Shenendehowa High where he has helped his team reach the regional finals. He has picked up 60 groundballs while causing 27 turnovers over the past two seasons and was named to the Times Union All-Star teams in the New York State Capital District. Gelfman has also served as a team captain for a program which has won three consecutive section titles and he is a New York State Public High School Athletic Association Scholar-Athlete with a 4.0 GPA. He plans to be a pre-med major at Bonaventure.

Anthony Guidone | D | 6-2 | 190 | Fayetteville, N.Y.
A product of Jamesville-DeWitt High, he has picked up First Team All-League honors as a defender, keying three Section III, Class C championships and three straight state championship game appearances. He also has notched five pole goals. Also a standout football player, he holds his high school's all-time career passing record as a quarterback. He has earned Honor Roll accolades as a student and plans to major in business/finance.

Connor Hocking | A/M | 6-2 | 190 | Nanaimo, British Columbia
Hocking plays both midfield and attack for Royal Bay Secondary School, picking up Most Valuable Player honors for his high school team. He also has played club for the Nanaimo Raiders and Nanaimo Timbermen and earned an island championship with the Saanich Tigers. His father played professional football in the Canadian Football League for 12 years. An Honor Roll student in the classroom, he plans to major in sports science.

Kai Jankow | M | 5-10 | 160 | Babylon, N.Y.
Jankow has recorded strong offensive numbers during his career at Babylon High, putting home 83 goals along with 57 assists over the past three seasons to earn First Team All-Division accolades. He is an All-State football player as well and his father was also a Division I lacrosse student-athlete at Hofstra. Jankow is an Honor Roll student who plans to major in sports management.

Jacob Klein | A/M | 6-1 | 170 | Westminster, MD
Klein is a three-year starter at Loyola Blakefield High in Maryland, playing attack and midfield. He has tallied 30 goals along with 17 assists and also plays club for Team 91 Maryland. He plans to major in finance.

Oliver Kowal | SSDM | 5-9 | 200 | Victor, N.Y.
Kowal joins his brother Simon who is a freshman on this year's team. A product of Victor High School, he has helped his squad to a 32-9 record over the past two seasons with 127 groundballs and 11 points. A starting short stick defensive midfielder for the Section V champions, he helped key a run for Victor to the state finals by earning 2024 and 2025 All-League honors. He was invited to the USA Lacrosse National Team Combine each of the past two seasons and played for the USA Lacrosse U-16 and U-19 National Teams, also picking up New Balance All-America Honorable Mention recognition. Kowal plans to major in sports management.

Michael Maro | A | 5-8 | 160 | Collegeville, Pa.
A three-year captain at Methacton High, he has registered 107 career goals as well as 62 assists to take All-Conference honors in each of the past two seasons. His team's back-to-back offensive MVP, he is an Honor Roll student planning to major in business or finance.

Beauden McElhannon | LSM | 6-0 | 210 | Lafayette, N.Y.
McElhannon has served as a force on defense for Lafayette High, delivering 138 groundballs while also handing out 16 assists over three seasons on varsity. A First Team All-League honoree, he helped lead the program to the sectional semifinals in two of the past three years. He is a National Honor Society member who intends on majoring in criminal justice.

Landon Provenzano | D/LSM | 6-1 | 185 | Rochester, N.Y.
Provenzano joins the Bonnies from Rochester where he plays at Webster Thomas High School. He's posted 28 groundballs and 22 caused turnovers the past two seasons on close defense and with a long pole. A team captain, he is an Honor Roll student planning to major in finance.

Bennett Rawl | FO | 6-0 | 200 | Hoschton, Ga.
A native of the Peach State, Rawl is a faceoff specialist from Mill Creek High School. He helped key a program-record for wins in a season and also plays club for Team 91 Georgia.

Cameron Robator | A/M | 5-10 | 175 | Mahwah, N.J.
Robator has collected 188 points, reaching the century mark in goals with 101 along with 87 assists to rack up Second Team All-State recognition in New Jersey. He serves as a team captain for his Mahwah High squad, also taking Honor Roll honors in the classroom where he intends to major in business.

Breckyn Williams | A/M | 6-0 | 185 | Victoria, British Columbia
Williams is a product of Canada where he plays attack and midfield at Royal Bay along with teammate and fellow Bonnies signee Connor Hocking. His father played professional rugby and represented Canada in multiple World Cups. He plans to major in business at St. Bonaventure and is an Honor Roll student.

Owen Wright | A/M | 5-9 | 150 | Orchard Park, N.Y.
Wright comes to Bona's from just up the road in Orchard Park where he earned First Team All-Section VI honors in Class A this past spring for the second consecutive season. He was also a Second Team All-Section selection following his freshman season. He's helped OP to three straight Section VI crowns as a key member of the program's attack, netting 96 goals and 49 assists for 147 points during his career. A four-sport athlete in high school, he is also an Honor Roll student. His father played four seasons at the Division I lacrosse level at Providence.
