The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team closes out the home portion of the 2025 non-conference slate Tuesday. The Bonnies welcome Binghamton to the Marra Athletics Complex for a 12:00 p.m. draw.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies scored their second victory of the year at Youngstown State Saturday. Bona's outscored the Penguins 9-3 in the second half to earn a 13-10 win.
Brooke Piper led the way offensively with four goals, and Katelyn Hick had another outstanding performance in the cage, making 10 saves on a .500 save percentage.
Megan Schillinger matched her career-high and program record set earlier this month in draw controls with 12.

ROOKIE ROCKSTARS
Four different freshmen scored in the win over YSU Saturday, including
Riley Devlin, who netted her first collegiate goal.
Sidney Van Tassel,
Reagan Diehl, and
Hannah West all collected their second goals of the season. Van Tassel also added an assist.
NATIONAL RANKINGS
Coming into the week,
Katelyn Hicks ranks in the top 25 in Division I in save percentage, goals against average (8.58), and saves per game. Her season save percentage of .527 and saves per game (9.75) is best in the Atlantic 10.
Megan Schillinger moved into the top 10 in draw controls this week, averaging 9.50 per game. She leads the A-10, sitting ahead of Massachusetts' Jordan Dean who averages 8.67.
NON-CONFERENCE SLATE
The Bonnies sit at 2-2 in non-conference play with three games to go. If the Bonnies win out, they could have their best non-conference record (5-2) since 2020. In 2020, Bona's went 5-2 before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After Tuesday's home game with Binghamton, the Bonnies travel to Florida for two games. The Bonnies take on Stetson Feb. 28, and they face South Florida March 2, a program in their first year at Division I.
SERIES HISTORY
Tuesday's game will be the first meeting between the Bonnies and the Bearcats in 10 years. The Bonnies lead the all-time series 3-2, but Binghamton has been victorious in the last two meetings. In 2015 at the Marra Athletics Complex, the Bearcats earned an 18-13 win over the Bonnies. The Bonnies last win over the Bearcats was in 2009 at Binghamton. Bona's edged the Bearcats 11-10.
ABOUT BINGHAMTON
- Binghamton has started the season 1-2, with a win over Siena. Their two losses came at Villanova, 20-4, and at home against Colgate, 16-13.
- Last season, the Bearcats won the America East Championship, defeating No. 1 seed UAlbany in the finals. In the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the Bearcats fell to Yale, 17-4. Binghamton also made the AEC Championship game in 2023, losing to UAlbany, 14-13.
- Junior Emma Blloshmi leads the team in scoring with 13 points. Blloshmi earned a spot on the America East All-Rookie team last season after redshirting as a freshman at Ohio State.
- Maeve Sayer has started the last two games in the cage for Binghamton. Sayer has a season save percentage of .414 and goals against average of 12.36.
