WASHINGTON, D.C. – St. Bonaventure's Melvin Council Jr. and Chance Moore have each earned postseason All-Conference accolades, Atlantic 10 officials announced Tuesday. Council received Third Team All-A10 honors while Moore picked up an All-Academic Team nod.

Council averaged 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.1 steals per game this season while leading the Bonnies in most statistical categories.

Despite playing out of his natural position once taking over point guard duties 11 games into the year, Council thrived in his first season in the A-10. He ranked in the conference's top-five for minutes (36.5 mpg, 2^nd), assists (129, 5^th), assist-to-turnover ratio (2.3, 5^th) and field goals (183, 4^th) while leading all A-10 players in steals with 65. He also stands 27^th nationally in total steals this season.

The Rochester native posted double-figure scoring in every A-10 contest this season and in the year's final 22 games consecutively.

During the year, he also captured both A-10 and USBWA National Player of the Week recognition in January.

Moore earned selection to the five-player All-Academic Team for his work in the classroom as well as on the court in his Bonnies debut.

Academically, he owns a 3.54 cumulative GPA as a Communication, Social Justice & Advocacy major.

The Brookhaven, Ga. native stands at or near the top of just about every statistical category for the Bonnies this year, posting 12.9 points and 6.4 rebounds in 34 minutes per contest.

The senior guard ranked 10^th among all A-10 players on the glass this season and was consistently the league's top rebounding guard. He compiled five double-doubles on the year and started 28 of 29 games played this season. He also registered a field goal percentage of nearly 45 percent overall and was named the A-10 Player of the Week in November.
