St. Bonaventure rising junior Patrick Shanahan has put together two strong seasons on the men's lacrosse field, already ranking in the program's top-10 for points.

Off the field, he has aspirations of becoming a doctor following his lacrosse days and he's gaining valuable experience – and helping the campus community – through work as a member of Bona's Medical Emergency Response Team.

A New York State certified EMT, Shanahan has excelled in the classroom as a member of the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team.
