ROAD TRIP
The St. Bonaventure women's soccer team hits the road this week to begin a series of five straight away games, traveling to face Binghamton on Thursday evening before heading west to take on Youngstown State on Sunday. After a tightly fought battle against Charleston Southern this past Sunday which ended in a 1-1 tie, the Bonnies will look to pick up early wins in a road stint which will also feature Saint Peter's, Post, and Cleveland State before finally returning to the Marra Athletics Complex next month.
Â
LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies ended last Sunday's contest at the Marra Athletics Complex locked with the Buccaneers at one goal each, the only score for the hosts coming on a penalty kick from graduate student
Giovanna Coghetto in her debut with the team. Junior goalkeeper
Juliana Castellano got the starting nod and had four saves in her first action since the 2024 season opener against Buffalo. Returning sophomore forward
Ekemini Udofa had three shots and multiple close chances in her role as substitute, playing 67 minutes.

BRAND NEW BONNIES
The squad's season opener featured many debuts, one of which being head coach
Melissa Sherwood's first game with St. Bonaventure after spending the past three seasons at Mount St. Mary's. Sherwood took the position in January of this year and immediately undertook a roster overhaul as the team boasts 17 newcomers. The following student-athletes made their first appearances as Bonnies in Sunday's contest:
