The St. Bonaventure women's soccer team will finish out its five-game road stint this coming Sunday, traveling to face Cleveland State at 1 p.m.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies picked up their first victory of the season last Sunday, taking down Division II Post, 5-0. The team was lifted by graduate student Giovanna Coghetto's hat trick as she scored in the 25^th, 26^th and 58^th minutes. She also added an assist, while sophomore Hannah Lindenberger and fellow graduate student Daniela De Souza tallied scores of their own. Goalkeepers Jael Schubert and Adelaide Paredes each played shutout halves in net. It was Schubert's season debut.
 
IN THE RECORD BOOKS
Coghetto's hat trick was just the 11^th in program history. It was also the first since Ami Komori found the back of the net three times on the road at Fordham in 2023.
 
VETERAN LEADERSHIP
Coghetto and De Souza, both fifth-year players, pace the team in points and have provided a large portion of the offense. They have recorded nine points (4G-1A) and four points (1G-2A), respectively.
 
ABOUT CLEVELAND STATE

• The Vikings are led by head coach Mark Sappington in his second season with the program. Their sole victory so far in the 2025 campaign came against Southern Indiana, and they were toppled by Duquesne in their last outing, 4-1.
• The team has had four different players score goals so far this season. Senior midfielder Mayra Sesmas has a team-leading 5 points (4G-1A).

 
SERIES HISTORY
The Bonnies are 4-2-1 all-time against the Cleveland State, but the Vikings have captured the last three meetings including winning the 2023 matchup, 3-1.
