ANNAPOLIS, MD – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team opened the 2025 fall season at the Navy Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

In singles play, newcomer Sara Montano Parada picked up a first-round victory in the Flight B bracket, defeating Navy's Manci Pal in straight sets, 7-6, 6-1. She would later fall in the next round to Giselle Vlassis of Lehigh.

Also earning singles wins for the Bonnies were Tamara Bachmann, Sienna Smith, and Gabriella Blumberg. Bachmann and Smith recorded victories in the Flight A consolation bracket, while Blumberg secured a win in the Flight B consolation bracket.

In doubles action, Kelly Barnes and Montano Parada teamed up to defeat Binghamton's Clara Arbeloa Lopez and Apara Khandare, 6-2.

The Bonnies return to action on Friday, Sept. 19, at the UB Invite.
