FAMILIAR FACES
St. Bonaventure does something nearly unheard of in this era of college basketball: Welcome back all eligible players who finished last season on the roster.
The Bonnies brought back 10 players from a 2025-26 season that saw them return to the national postseason for the first time in 10 years.
These returners accounted for 61 percent of minutes played last year, led by junior guard Mackenzie Pettinelli who finished second last season with 934 minutes played.
VETERAN PRESENCE
Going into this season, the Bonnies will rely on experience to build on last season's success. Bringing in just two freshmen this year, St. Bonaventure will count on a roster made up of six sophomores, three juniors, three seniors, and one graduate student.
FRESH FROM THE PORTAL
The Bonnies welcome three transfers this season: Jordyn Williams, Kyla Hayes, and Kay Donahue, who combine for 146 college games played, including 34 starts.
Williams made 56 appearances, including 16 starts in two seasons with Niagara. In that span, the Buffalo native averaged 5.2 points and 2.9 rebounds. Williams led Niagara in steals last season with 44.
Hayes appeared in 10 contests with St. John's as a freshman last season. Another Buffalo native, Hayes scored five points against UConn and recorded a season-high 16 minutes against Columbia. One of the top high school players in recent Western New York history, she was a three-time All-State selection and graduated from Cardinal O'Hara as the No. 3 all-time scorer in WNY history with over 2,600 points.
Donahue appeared in 80 career games, including 18 starts with Lafayette. The graduate student totaled 460 points and 217 rebounds in her first four seasons.
