Men’s Soccer Begins Three-Game Road Stretch at Binghamton and Saint Joseph’s

The St. Bonaventure University men's soccer team begins a three-game road stretch with a pair of games this week at Binghamton and Saint Joseph's.

The Bonnies travel to take on the Bearcats Tuesday, Oct. 6 with kickoff set for 6:00 p.m. before traveling to the City of Brotherly Love to battle the Hawks Saturday, Oct. 10 at 2:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies battled Fordham to a 2-2 draw Saturday afternoon at the Marra Athletics Complex.

In the game's opening minute, Callum Shillington was taken down in the box, resulting in a Fordham red card and a Bonnies penalty kick.

Kyle Macfarlane stepped up and buried the penalty chance to give the Bonnies an early lead.

Fordham, however, got a pair of goals from Sam Delgado in the 20th and 29th minutes to give the Rams the lead.

Neshawn Sutherland was able to find the equalizer for the Bonnies in the 30th minute off a pass from Brendan Sheehan.

Winston Jory made five saves in net for the Brown and White.

IN THE RANKS
Entering the latter half of the 2026 schedule, Winston Jory continues to be a stable force for the Bonnies defense.

In nine starts, Jory ranks third in the Atlantic 10 in shutouts (3), third in save percentage (0.795), fourth in goals against average (1.0), fifth in saves (63) and fifth in saves per game (3.89).

BINGHAMTON NOTES

  • Binghamton enters the week 1-5-4 overall and are 0-1-1 in America East play. The Bearcats lone win of the season was a 1-0 victory over Central Connecticut State on Sept. 5.
  • Anthony Randazzo has eight points on three goals and two assists to lead the Bearcats offensively while Marcus Nahim has four points for Binghamton on a goal and two assists.
  • In net, Natan Jemaneh Admassu has started all 10 games for Binghamton, making 41 saves and allowing 15 goals.

SCOUTING SAINT JOSEPH'S

  • The Hawks begin the week 3-3-4 overall and are 0-2-1 in Atlantic 10 play. Saint Joseph's has picked up wins over NJIT, LIU and Iona while earning a conference draw against George Mason. The Hawks were picked to finish tied for eighth in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll.
  • Eddie Krupski and Jake Ross have two goals each to lead the Hawks on offense while Conor Clair has three points on a goal and an assist.
  • Alex Smith has started all 10 games in net for Saint Joseph's, making 39 saves and allowing 10 goals.

UP NEXT
The Bonnies wrap up their three-game road stretch at Loyola Chicago Saturday, Oct. 17. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. in the Windy City.
