ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – Bonnies men's lacrosse sophomore Cole Kucinski has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association National Team of the Week, officials announced Wednesday.

Kucinski put together a breakout performance in Bona's win last Saturday at Binghamton as he tallied a hat trick before halftime and finished the day with five goals. His electric effort helped power the Bonnies to their first win of the year, 10-9.

He surpassed his entire freshman year goal output of two in the first quarter alone.

The Maryland native proved that game was no fluke as he scored a team-high four goals in another Bonnies win Tuesday over Robert Morris.

After Tuesday's game, he is tied for the Atlantic 10 lead in goals with nine and is also seventh in the league in points.

Joining Kucinski on the Team of the Week are Dylan Anderson (A) of Robert Morris, Kyle Colsey (M) of Duke, Rory Connor (A) of Georgetown, Kyle Grant (D) of Detroit Mercy, Connor Kehm (D) of Boston, Grayson Manning (G) of Denver, Julian Radossich (D) of Fairfield, Joey Spallina (A) of Syracuse and Brady Wambach (FO) of North Carolina.

The Bonnies are back in action Tuesday, Feb. 24 at home vs. Bellarmine.
