HAMPTON, Va. - Dhavgely Mendoza's gold medal performance on the 3-meter diving board highlighted the second day of competition for the St. Bonaventure women's swim and dive team at Atlantic 10 Championships. Following the day of action, the Bonnies rank sixth in the team standings.

Richmond leads the way with 242 team points ahead of George Washington (214) and Duquesne (189). Bona's checks in with 129 team points thus far.

Mendoza's score of 315.60 makes her an Atlantic 10 champion as she adds to an already decorated resume. The sophomore followed up on last year's silver medal from the 1-meter board. She also gives the Bonnies' women's program their first medal from the 3-meter board since 2022. She also becomes the Bonnies' first individual A-10 champion in any women's swim or dive event since Rachel Kimmel paced the field in the 100-breaststroke in 2021.

In other action, Samantha Schnappauf and Kathryn Beyer progressed to the B-final in the 500 free. Schnappauf's 4:57.87 and Beyer's 4:59.64 - both personal bests - were good for 13th and 14th, respectively.

The 200-free relay of Kate Hill, Sophie Baker, Anna Bojana Forjan and Nele Vetter finished sixth with a season-best time of 1:32.67.
