Last Time Out
St. Bonaventure went back-and-forth this past weekend with Middle Tennessee. After losing game one on a walk-off double, the Bonnies responded with a win in game two. Multi-hit games from RF/1B Joey Calabretti and 3B Manuel Castro catapulted the Bonnies offense, and starting pitcher Nolan Feidt earned his first career Division I win on the mound. St. Bonaventure then dropped the rubber match on Sunday to fall back below .500 on the season.

Bringing The Feidt
Junior starting pitcher Nolan Feidt recorded his first career Division I win in Saturday's win over Middle Tennessee. Over 5.2 innings, the southpaw didn't allow an earned run and gave up only three hits. Feidt joins the Bonnies after spending the last two years at Niagara County CC, where he posted a 2.73 ERA in his sophomore season.

Veteran Presence
Senior infielder Chris Hoalcraft made his 100th career start as a Bonnie in Saturday's win at MTSU. Hoalcraft is coming off a breakout junior season that saw him record career highs in every major category, including home runs (7), RBIs (49), and batting average (.289). The utility player has a .251 career batting average and is just four hits shy of reaching 100 career hits.

He's The Man(uel)
Junior third baseman Manuel Castro has been leading the charge for the Bonnies offense to start the year. Castro leads the Bonnies in batting average (.367), runs (6), doubles (3), and home runs (2). Castro joins St. Bonaventure after spending the last two seasons with Northern Essex Community College, where he hit .465 with a .540 on-base percentage and was named NJCAA Second-Team All-American.
