Bonnies Sign Junior College All-American Point Guard Taj Au-Duke

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure men's basketball program has signed point guard Taj Au-Duke, head coach Mike MacDonald announced Thursday (April 23). The Toronto native joins the Bonnies after being named a First Team NJCAA All-American at Indian Hills last season.
 
"Taj is a true point guard," MacDonald said. "St. Bonaventure has had some success with players from Indian Hills before and we're hoping we can have the great success with him too. Taj is a guy who makes his teammates better, who loves to play defense, and he brings good size and athleticism to our backcourt."
 
Au-Duke averaged 12.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and a team-best 5.1 assists per game in his lone season at Indian Hills. He reached double-figures in 26 games and had five-or-more assists in 16 games. Au-Duke led the Warriors to a 30-3 record, the school's highest win total since 2019-20.
 
Au-Duke began his collegiate career at Pepperdine during in 2024-25. In 31 games off the bench, he averaged 1.5 points per game. He shot 88.9 percent from the free throw line, a team-best among players with 10-or-more attempts. The 6-3 guard scored a season-best 10 points at Northwestern (Nov. 22, 2024). 
 
Prior to Pepperdine, Au-Duke played prep hoops at CALI Prep in Pickering, Ontario, under former St. Bonaventure forward Vidal Massiah ('02). He represented Canada's U16 team in the 2021 FIBA Americas Championship, lifting the team to a third-place finish.
