The GoBonnies.com Student-Athletes of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending April 27 are men's lacrosse graduate student Aiden MacDonell and women's lacrosse sophomore Sidney Van Tassel.

MacDonell had an all-around performance in his final game as a Bonnie last Friday night vs. Hobart, celebrating Senior Night with two caused turnovers, two groundballs and a goal.

One of the top defenders in Bonnies program history, the Toronto native registered a long pole goal during Bona's third quarter rally to electrify the fans in attendance at the Marra Athletics Complex, accomplishing the feat with fellow defenders Cameron Viavada and Owen Tasse.

A starter in every game he played this season, he finishes the year with 11 caused turnovers and 20 groundballs. For his career, he is fifth in school history with 31 total caused turnovers.

Van Tassel helped power the Bonnies in a 15-4 victory in the regular season finale over George Washington this past Saturday. The win was key for Atlantic 10 Tournament seeding.

It was a new career high for the sophomore from Vernon, N.J. She scored back-to-back times in the second quarter before tallying her final three goals in the next period, earning a third quarter hat trick. 

This season, Van Tassel ranks third on the team in scoring with 33 points (27G-6A).

St. Bonaventure will have a quick rematch with GW in the A-10 quarterfinals on Thursday at Davidson.
