St. Bonaventure alumni and fans enjoyed a day of golf and camaraderie at the annual Golf With The Bonnies tournament Friday, May 29 at Bartlett Country Club in Olean. The tournament's presenting sponsor was H&R Block / Fox Financial.

The golf featured 28 teams competing in a four-player scramble format. The team of Danny Kallenbach, Corey Haas, Shaun Callahan and Billy Hendrickson finished in first place with a score of 54 (16 under par).  Second place went to the team of Steve Blaske, Joe Miller, Andy Studley and Josh Brooks (13 under) while the foursome of Scott Derwick, Phil Vecchio, Jim Crowley and Rodney Gleason placed third (11 under).

The long drive winners were Dale Tepas and Cindy Haas. Tepas, Dennis Pezzimenti and Brooks won closest-to-the-pins.

At the tournament awards ceremony, two St. Bonaventure supporters were recognized as the first Golf With the Bonnies "Legacy B Honorees" -- Mary Lou Wood of Olean and Peter Gray '74 of Syracuse. Mrs. Wood and Mr. Gray are both long-time donors to the Bonnies Athletic Fund and numerous other areas of the university.
