TEMPE, Ariz. – The St. Bonaventure University men's and women's tennis team both earned All-Academic Team distinction from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) while a total of 11 student-athletes garnered ITA Scholar-Athlete honors following the 2025-26 academic year.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or better. Bona's women's team posted the highest GPA of any team on campus this year at 3.79 while the men's team boasted a 3.41 collective GPA.
Kashish Bote, Sienna Smith, Isabella Venter, Kelly Barnes, Tamara Bachmann, Gabriella Blumberg and Sara Montano Parada garnered ITA Scholar-Athlete honors on the women's side while Connor Turner, Davis Matney, Alex Kim and Luke Ollivierre earned accolades for the men's team.
To earn individual honors, an ITA student-athlete must have a GPA of at least 3.5 or higher.
The men's team has achieved ITA All-Academic Team honors eight out of the last nine years while the women's team has made the cut 11 times since 2012.
