WASHINGTON, D.C. – St. Bonaventure University men's soccer junior goalkeeper Winston Jory has been tabbed as the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week, officials announced Monday.

Jory recorded nine saves while registering a shutout across two games for the Bonnies last week.

A native of Brisbane, Australia, Jory began his week on the road at then No. 23 West Virginia where he made three saves for the Brown and White while allowing just one goal.

He followed that performance with a season-high six saves in the Bonnies 0-0 draw in the home opener Sunday against Le Moyne.

Through three games this season, Jory ranks second in the A10 in goals against average (.33), second in save percentage (.917), second in shutouts (2) and sixth in saves (11).

The Bonnies return to action Friday evening when they host Robert Morris at 6:00 p.m.
