Played in 29 games with one start ... averaged 2.7 points and 2.2 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game ... scored six points, set a career high with five steals and grabbed four boards in 23 minutes to help spark a win at Saint Louis Jan. 17 … played 23 minutes and scored four points – two of which coming from an emphatic put-back dunk – while grabbing four rebounds at Richmond Jan. 11 … scored six points, dished three assists and grabbed four rebounds and two steals in 19 minutes on the floor at UMass in the Bonnies’ Atlantic 10 opener … scored six points in a perfect 3-for-3 performance from the field against Canisius Dec. 22 … made his first career start against Niagara in the Big 4 Classic and played 28 minutes, pulled down nine rebounds, including five offensive boards in the win … played 25 minutes and scored 11 points, shattering his previous career highs in both categories, against Arkansas Little Rock Nov. 21 in Austin, Texas.

Earned third team All-State 3A honors as a senior in 2014-15 after he helped Providence to the state championship … Providence finished 31-1 on the season after defeating rival Sagemont in the title game … Griffin averaged 12.9 points and 8.3 rebounds per game and made 78 percent of his free throws … as a junior, he helped Providence reach the Florida 3A state semifinals, where he scored 18 points in a loss to Sagemont … averaged 12.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocked shots per game as Providence finished 29-4 in 2013-14 … was coached by Jim Martin, who is originally from Allegany, N.Y. … signed with St. Bonaventure in November 2014 … played AAU basketball for Nike Team Florida … FloridaHoops.com rated Griffin 50th in its top 100 players in the state as well as a 4-star recruit, while Max Preps rated Griffin No. 6 in the state at his position … played two seasons at Providence after he transferred from Sandalwood High.
