Pyon set a new Magnus Cup record in the 50-fly, clocking in at 21.40 to claim a victory and the fastest time to date in the A-10. The BYU transfer also contributed to three podium finishes in relay action, helping place third in both the 200-free relay (1:21.50) and the 200-medley relay (1:28.30) and second in the 400-free relay (2:58.02). He rounded out his successful week with two fourth-place finishes in both the 200-fly (1:48.68) and the 100-fly (48.09).
