The GoBonnies.com Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending Aug. 29 is women's soccer sophomore Lydia Choban.

Choban earned her first start of the new season Sunday at Merrimack, netting the first goal of her career and playing 60 minutes.

The sophomore midfielder opened the scoring on a shot from outside the box, flying to the upper left side of the net that gave the Merrimack goalkeeper no chance to save it.

The Bonnies are back in action Friday, Sept. 3 at Eastern Michigan.
