Delaware controlled the opening draw control of the second half and took it straight to cage as Nicole Flego became the seventh different player to score for the home team.

Just under five minutes later, St. Bonaventure got its first goal of the game as senior Kimberly Ross found Vito for her second goal of the game at the 24:45 mark.

Following another Delaware goal that made it 10-5, the Bonnies found their rhythm on the offensive end tallying four of the games next five goals to make 11-9 with 15:27 left. The first three goals of the run were unassisted as freshman Christine Hanley converted a free position shot while Nessle and Ross found the back of the net for their first goals of the game. The final tally came off the stick of senior Stephanie Jordan from Hanley.
