ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The St. Bonaventure
cross country teams competed at the Atlantic 10 Championships in
St. Louis, Mo., on
Halloween morning.
Both the women's and men's squads placed 14th out of
14 teams at the championships. Dayton prevailed in the first place
spot for the women while Saint Joseph's won on the
men's side.
Freshman Kimberley Burke was the first Bona woman to cross the
finish line with a time of 24:23.1 in the 5K. Junior Jimmy Burton
paced the men finishing the race at 29:51.5.
The A-10 Championships wrap up the fall season for both squads.
The Bonnies will be begin action again in early spring.
