ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The women's soccer team (7-6-0, 1-2-0 Atlantic 10) looks to continue its undefeated home streak this weekend when it welcomes La Salle and Fordham to McGraw-Jennings Field on Friday and Sunday.
After handing Charlotte its first loss at home since 2007 and dropping a 1-0 decision at Saint Louis last weekend, the Bonnies look to gain some ground in the A-10 this weekend. Senior Anna Cunningham scored twice against Charlotte and has seven goals on the season. Cunningham currently ranks in the A-10's top five in goals (seven) and points (17).
La Salle (6-6-2, 0-2-1) is looking for its first win in October after starting the month 0-2-1. The Explorers' starting goalkeeper Gabby Pahktigian leads the league in saves with 66.
Fordham (5-7-1, 1-1-1) is coming off a 2-2 tie against La Salle, and will play at Duquesne Friday before coming to St. Bonaventure on Sunday. The Rams have struggled offensively this season, scoring only 13 goals in as many games, but their goalkeepers have combined for four shutouts and average five saves per game.
The game times are set for 3 p.m. Friday against La Salle and 1 p.m. Sunday against Fordham.
