ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – After a week-long hiatus, the men's and women's cross country teams head to the Atlantic 10 Championships this weekend in Charlotte, N.C.
Hosted by Charlotte, the meets will take place at Frank Liske Park on Saturday, Oct. 29. The women will begin with a 10 a.m. start time. The men will begin afterwards at 10:45 a.m.
Both men's and women's teams will look to the freshmen to lead the way. Hannah Robinson led the women in her fifth consecutive race at the 45th Annual Albany Invitational two weeks ago with a time of 19:43.90. The men rallied behind Nick Masiello at the Albany meet after he finished with a time of 27:35.30, gaining Masiello an 81st-place finish out of 185 runners.
The Bonnies' top five runners from the Albany Invitational will also look to shine during Saturday's meets. On the women's team, Emily Steves (19:53.20), Elizabeth Dickinson (21:07.40), Morgan Mayo (21:07.40) and Catie Greene (21:16.60) all helped the Bonnies place 16th out of 23 teams at Albany. The men, with help from Harley Thompson (28:14.60), Steven Kibbe (28:27.80), Kyle Wilkinson (29:35.80) and Dan Myers (29:37.30), finished 20th out of 21 teams.
