ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure University women's lacrosse team (2-2) takes on the University of Connecticut on Sunday at Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y.

The Huskies are 5-2 and began their season with victories against Iona (18-11) and Binghamton (11-9) and an 11-8 loss to Boston College.

Huskies leading scorer M.E. Lapham (24 goals) recorded five goals to lead the Huskies past Binghamton.

The Bonnies are coming off a 13-8 victory at Robert Morris March 18. Christine Hanley and Danielle Drabin each scored three goals, and the St. Bonaventure scored five straight to overcome an early deficit. The Bonnies opened up the 2011 season with a 14-10 win over Bucknell.
