Bonnies Fall on Final Day in Hawai'i

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The Bonnies dropped their final two games Sunday at the Bank of Hawaii Invitational. The Brown and White fell in their first game to #14 Hawaii 8-0 and to South Dakota State 8-3 in the second game.  

 
Freshman Jen Sansano made the start for the Bonnies allowing five earned runs over four innings. The Bonnies were held to three hits by Rainbow Wahine pitcher Stephanie Ricketts. In five innings pitched, Ricketts struck out three and walked one.  Hawai'i was led offensively by Jenna Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.  

In the second game, the Bonnies got off to a fast start scoring one run in their first at bat, but surrendered four runs in the bottom half of the inning.

Diana Phalon made the start for the Bonnies, but only lasted 0.2 innings allowing four hits and four runs. At the plate, the Bonnies were led by freshman right fielder Lindsay Stowell who went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI.

St. Bonaventure (0-4) will be in action again when they play in Johnson City, Tennessee against Pittsburgh Friday March 11
