@BonniesLax Looks To Halt A-10 Slide At George Washington

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team (5-7) looks to get back on track as they travel to conference opponent George Washington (7-5) on Friday at 4:00 p.m.

The Bonnies dropped their fifth straight game Tuesday (Apr. 9) when they lost 17-9 at Bucknell.

Jenna Schlagenhauf continued her standout season, however, as she added three more goals to her total count on Tuesday. She has now netted 29 goals and dished out 11 assists in 12 games played. The sophomore has accounted for 40 of the teams 146 points. The Bonnies are still seeking their first Atlantic-10 win since 2011.

St. Bonaventure will have its hands full against a solid George Washington offense that has scored 128 goals through 12 games.

The Colonials have a spread out attack as they have four players with 20 points or more. Their point leader, Jamie Bumgardner, has scored 13 goals and given out an astonishing 31 of her teams 55 assists. George Washington's other offensive leader is Nicole Lacey, who has scored 27 goals on the season. Last time out, the Colonials lost a 10-9 heartbreaker to No. 13 UMass. Four of George Washington's 12 games have been decided by three goals or less.

The Brown and White continue their A-10 campaign when they travel to Richmond on Sunday (Apr. 14). The game is scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. start.
