@BonniesLax Returns Home To Face Off With Detroit

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. –The St. Bonaventure lacrosse team (5-9, 0-5 Atlantic 10) hopes to snap seven-game losing streak when it hosts Detroit Mercy (3-12, 2-1 Horizon League) at 4 p.m. on Wednesday (Apr. 17).

The Bonnies enter Wednesday's contest following a 22-8 loss at conference rival Richmond on Sunday (Apr. 14). The Spiders earned a 15-5 first half lead and never relinquished control in the second half. Jenna Schlagenhauf scored twice while Mackenzie Jordan, Marybeth Madia, Lauren Michaels, Mikayla Place, Erin Thomas and Taylor Ventre also netted goals.

Through 14 games, Schlagenhauf leads the team in scoring with 12 assists, 34 goals and 46 points.

Detroit Mercy travels to McGraw-Jennings Field following a 16-2 loss at Jacksonville on Sunday (Apr. 14). Through 15 games, Zaynib Hamze leads the team with 28 goals and 37 points. She shares the team-high in assists with Erin Campbell with nine.

Following Wednesday's game, St. Bonaventure hosts a pair of weekend A-10 contests: Massachusetts on Friday (Apr. 19) at 1 p.m. and against La Salle on Sunday (Apr. 21) at 1 p.m.
