St. Bonaventure played A-10 leader La Salle fairly close for a half but the Explorers wore the Bonnies down and took a 2-0 decision Sunday afternoon at the Marra Athletics Fields Complex.

Kelsey Haycook, the A-10's leading goal scorer, tallied both goals in the game. Both came on headers off corner kicks. The first came in the 39^th minute off the crossing pass of Kristin Haugstad. The score remained 1-0 until the 66^th minute when Haycook headed in the pass of Maryam Huseini.

The Bonnies' best scoring chance came in the 22^nd minute when senior Brittany Charles sent a pass between two La Salle defenders to classmate Molly Curry, whose shot deflected off the leg of Explorers goalkeeper Jessica Wiggins as she charged out of her net.

St. Bonaventure's season ends at 7-11-1 overall and 2-6 in A-10 games. The Explorers won the A-10 regular season title.

• St. Bonaventure was out-shot 12-2 in the second half and 18-9 for the game.
• Bona junior keeper Christina Sarokon made four saves, ending the season with 89.
• The Bonnies went 4-4 on their home field this season, the renovated Marra Complex.
• Prior to the game, St. Bonaventure honored its three seniors in the traditional Senior Day ceremonies – Brittany Charles, Molly Curry and Alicia Elwell. The trio helped the Bonnies to 32 wins and three A-10 Tournament berths over their careers.
