The Short Story: The St. Bonaventure women's tennis team came up short against Army on Sunday, February 16, by a score of 4-3. Marisa Brossard, Mara Martinez-Santori and Mariam Skhirtladze each tallied victories for the Brown and White. Junior Brossard claimed the first victory of the day for the Bonnies after defeating Allyson Hayley in straight sets, 6-0, 6-3. Martinez-Santori earned her fifth win of the season by winning in straight sets over Maya Parker, 7-5, 6-1. In the fourth singles match, Skhirtladze posted a comeback victory over Taler Brazell, she dropped the first set, 7-5, but rallied to win the next two sets, 6-2, 6-4.
