Records: St. Bonaventure 0-11 (0-4 Atlantic 10)   |  LaSalle 8-5 (2-2)

PHILADELPHIA – St. Bonaventure kept the game close for a half but could not overcome its lack of depth and lost 13-6 at LaSalle in an Atlantic 10 Conference women's lacrosse game on Sunday.

St. Bonaventure sophomores LeighAnn Stauffer and Mikayla Place scored back-to-back goals midway through the first half that pulled the Bonnies within 4-3. Toni Massetti answered for LaSalle with two scores of her own that made it 6-3, and it was a 7-4 game at halftime.

Early in the second half, the Explorers took control of the game by scoring three straight times to open up a 10-4 advantage.

The Bonnies got unassisted goals by Taylor Fallon and Lily Timlin late in the game.  LaSalle used 24 field players while St. Bonaventure was able to use only 13.

Fallon scored twice for St. Bonaventure while Stauffer, Timlin, Place and Mary Maestri tallied one goal each. Gabrielle Bradley registered two assists. Bonnies goalie Sara Schlagenhauf recorded nine saves.

Massetti and Katelyn Fay led LaSalle with three goals apiece.

The Bonnies will travel to Pittsburgh to face Duquesne on Thursday, April 17.
